A while ago I relinquished the hot seat as Alvin's main drummer as my other projects were encroaching more and more on my time. I still go out with the boys for gigs here and there though, covering for the regular drummer when he is not available. I always enjoy working with Alvin and his band because they are such great guys and highly talented players.
The Rock 'n' Roll and Christmas Party shows are both popping up here and there from time to time too, so keep an eye out in the press and on the website for details of gigs near you.

A great deal of my work is centred around the Shake Rattle and Roll project. This is an educational drumming duo based in West Sussex, but travelling far and wide including over the pond and into Europe.
We offer a truly unique presentation of music from around the world and down
through the ages, which includes costumes changes, wise cracks, audience participation, great music from classical marimba duets to the pulsating rhythms of Rio, and some shocking one liners!
In addition to the one hour show we also provide an array of workshops for all ages, aiming to create curriculum-based learning in conjunction with current Key Stage 1 and 2 learning guidelines. More information at www.shakerattleandroll.biz

I also work in a solo capacity playing the marimba and piano. This is proving to be popular as background entertainment in a variety of settings from private parties to weddings, and cafés to restaurants.

When Stuart released his 9th album we spent a lot of time promoting this, and sharing The Journey with you.
The show is performed as a 3 piece using loops and sequencing. It has a tremendously live and energetic feel, and is intended to be totally accesible, with alot of opportunity for individual and audience participation, whilst also being very thought provoking, hopefully taking the audience on a Journey of the Soul.
I'm particularly excited about Stuart's project for several reasons. For one, Stuart's been a very good friend of mine for......um......ages n ages! Also, the theme of the album is one that is very close to my heart. In addition to this, I am using a combination of sampled loops, electronic kits and D.J. scratching techniques to provide the bedrock rhythms.
